March for Meals
March for Meals is a national campaign held during the month of March, initiated, and sponsored by the Meals on Wheels Association of America (MOWAA), to raise awareness of senior hunger and to encourage action on the part of local communities. Senior Nutrition Programs across the United States, like South Fulton Senior Services, Inc., promote March For Meals through public events, partnerships with local businesses, volunteer recruitment and fundraising initiatives.
Since South Fulton Senior Services’ inception, we have hosted an Annual South Fulton Mayors’ Open Amateur Golf Tournament. All the Mayors’ of South Fulton County participate in the tournament as a golfer, volunteer, or host/hostess. SFSS is very pleased with the success of the tournament in the past and look forward to even greater participation in the years to come.
